Keith William Kiser, 81

Keith William (Bill) Kiser, 81 of Kila, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023. He was born on August 18, 1941, to Fleetice and Blanche (Swaney), in Kalispell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and older brothers, Noel and Bruce.

He married Mary (Kathy) Dawson on February 5, 1960, and had four daughters, Chris Hassler of Kalispell; Deb Wallace of Kalispell; Linda Jones of Lucedale, Mississippi; and Tracy Kiser of Shelton, Washington. As well as two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

After graduating from Flathead High School, he worked for Batch Brothers in Libby. He moved back to Kila, and worked at C and C Plywood until he formed his own company, BB and K, a road construction business supporting the forest industry. He was also a rancher and officially retired at 61 but he never stopped working.

He enjoyed falling timber, grooming his property, running his sawmill, cutting firewood and running his Christmas tree farm.

He was also a member of the Eagles, a Free Mason, a Shriner and a proud member of the NRA.

He would have been 82 on August 18, we all miss him.

A Funeral Service for Bill will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home, with burial to follow services at Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
