Five or six teens with sticks or bats reportedly ran down a walking path to Woodland Park at night and surrounded a group of people, knocking down their tents and trying to instigate fights. The Kalispell Police Department was unable to locate the group of brutes.

A parent called the police from a bike path after teens allegedly took their son’s bicycle, deflated the tires and then hid in the bushes.

Later, officers received yet another call about a reported incident on a bike path where three people with flashlights were “banging everything and tearing things apart.”

A male with a sizable gash on his head flagged down an officer, claiming a group of teens in a big white truck beat him up.

Someone dropping off recycling allegedly saw fecal matter all around the dumpsters and noticed a man with a dog nearby. Directions were not needed as the person said officers would be able to smell the offensive odor. There were no suspects in the area when officers arrived and they weren’t certain if the fecal matter was human or canine.

A woman was screaming and crying in a truck. The woman allegedly told an officer that she no longer wanted to stay with her boyfriend’s mother and he parked the truck at the location and left her. She said she would keep it down for the night until she could contact her pastor who said he would help her get a ticket out of the state. The officer called the boyfriend who answered the phone and promptly hung up.

Someone reportedly requested officers check on the welfare of children, possibly a 1- and 3-year-old, who were naked, sitting in a stroller being pushed by a woman and a tall man smoking a cigarette on a trail. The person calling in the request said they looked really dirty.

A man allegedly abandoned a gold van outside a woman’s house when she wouldn’t buy it and she wanted it towed away.

A verbal disturbance was reported at a residence where a couple was heard yelling and a woman reportedly said, “You’re pushing me,” and “I’m going to kill you.” The verbal disturbances were an ongoing occurrence. The woman told police she was fine.

A man wearing a cowboy hat, gloves and blue jeans reportedly returned to a store he had been kicked out of and stole ice from the deli before leaving on a bicycle. The store wanted officers to cite him for trespassing.

An employee was allegedly uncomfortable with asking a group of nine people with two kids and a dog, who were sitting on the sidewalk, to move along.

Ten different vehicles reportedly stopped at a house within 10 minutes, raising someone’s suspicions they were picking up drugs.

An angry man on a bike was allegedly “getting in people’s faces.”
