Carol Luke Richmond, 88

Carol Luke Richmond, 88, was born Oct. 28, 1934, to Leroy "Bud" and Vivian Luke, of Kalispell. She passed away on March 31, 2023, in Kalispell. She grew up in the West Valley area and attended Bald Rock School, graduating from Flathead High School in 1952.

She met her future husband Harold Richmond in grade school and they were married on July 14, 1953. From this marriage was born Sandra (Floyd) Quiram, Connie (Tim) Clark, Keith and Kevin Richmond. Carol was a wonderful mom, grandma, great-grandma, cook, gardener and canner. She worked as a bookkeeper over the years and retired from Fred Meyer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; her brothers, Cliff, Bill and Ralph; her sister-in-law, Roberta Luke; and her granddaughter, Brittany Richmond.

She is survived by her brother, Duane (Elenie); her sisters-in-law, Lynda, Luke and Betty Visser. As well as 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends Marla Richmond and Louise Porteous.

Carol's private family graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. on June 24, at Conrad Memorial Cemetery. With a Celebration of Life at Blaine Creek Events from 1-4 p.m. We plan to do a potluck so please bring your favorite dish or dessert, and stories to share.
