Realtor association names top award winners
The Northwest Montana Association of Realtors on Wednesday handed out its annual awards.
Earning the coveted Realtor of the Year award was Doryce Hawkins of Flathead Valley Brokers in Kalispell.
Brokers who qualify for the award are held to high criteria. They must achieve high levels of involvement in their Realtor association and civic activities.
“Realtors as a whole are an amazing group of people and I count myself blessed to be in the industry,” Hawkins says on her website. “When I was new to the industry, I was privileged to be mentored by some amazing Realtors. Now I get to serve alongside many of them and be in the role of mentor myself.”
The Rookie of the Year award was presented to Hillary Vrana of Glacier Sotheby’s International in Whitefish. Agents who qualify for Rookie of the Year have high levels of production in their first year, as well as association and civic involvement. The winner of the Rookie of the Year award is Hillary Vrana of Glacier Sotheby’s International in Whitefish.
The inaugural NMAR Good Neighbor Award went to Lauri Wilson of NextHome Northwest Real Estate who supports Casa for Kids.
CASA, or Court Appointed Special Advocates, has been a long-time passion for Wilson. CASA is a national association that supports and promotes court-appointed advocates for abused or neglected children.
The award recognizes Realtors who make a positive impact on their community and gifts the organization through which they volunteer time and talents. The award seeks to highlight, inspire, and perpetuate individual contributions within the real estate industry toward improving the community.
