Gabe Howell drove in the go-ahead run with a double in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Glacier Range Riders rallied past the Great Falls Voyagers 6-4 Sunday afternoon at Glacier Bank Park. Howell finished 3-4 with two RBI and two runs scored from the leadoff spot. Dean Miller was 3-5 with a double and two runs batted in of his own for the Riders and Kingston Liniak drilled a solo homer in the bottom of the second to get Glacier on the board. Jackson Raper picked up the Riders final RBI with a single in the bottom of the eighth that brough Howell around to score and brought the score to the final tally.

Range Riders starting pitcher Jonathan Pintaro tossed six innings while striking out six and allowing four earned runs. Glacier’s bullpen held the Voyagers scoreless across the final three frames with Joseph Kinsky, John Natoli, and Justin Coleman each pitching an inning. Natoli picked up the win and Coleman grabbed the save.

The win was the fifth straight for Glacier. Now on deck is a trip to Boise to take on the Hawks with the next Range Riders game scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
