A woman reported to the Flathead County Sheriff's Office that two horses were fighting with her horses. She didn’t know where the horses came from, but wanted animal control to respond so her horses didn’t get injured and her fence didn’t get wrecked.

Nails were embedded in the roadway of a Kalispell highway. The caller said they were unable to remove them.

The smell of burning plastic and visible smoke on a roof led people in Kalispell to evacuate a building. The culprit was a malfunctioning rotary fan on the roof.

A Kalispell resident stopped one of many drivers who allegedly speed up and down a road at about 50 to 60 mph. Extra patrol was provided.

A Kalispell resident didn’t have to worry about bears, but rather the neighbor’s dogs, when one killed their rabbit. The owner told deputies there was an ongoing issue of four dogs coming onto their property where they would attack the rabbits and tear into their garbage.

Someone relayed second-hand information that “some kind of wild dog” with patchy fur was hanging around West Glacier.

Someone calling from Kalispell reported a 15 to 20-foot fire in a ditch that was growing and they didn’t see anyone around. They told deputies they thought it was from fireworks and saw some kids stomp it out but still thought it should be checked for hot spots.
