Ruby P. Palmer (Stratton), 91

Ruby P. Palmer (Stratton) was born Sept. 24, 1931 to Elmer and Fannie (Dickson) Stratton in Coffee Creek.

Ruby was raised in the Sweet Grass Hills in Whitlash.

She married Arnold Stene in 1948, and they later divorced. Ruby and Arnold had three children, Ron Stene, Sonja (Stene) Lentz, and Maynard Stene.

Ruby then met and married Michael Plamer in 1982 from Plains.

She worked as a CNA in hospitals for 37 years, in Shelby, Kalispell, Hot Springs and Plains where she retired.

After retiring she moved to Kalispell.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers Elmer, Gene and Don Stratton; three stepsisters; husband Michael Palmer; son Maynard; and daughter Sonja; Bill Bowles and Ty Miller.

Ruby is survived by her son Ron; and six grandchildren Jon, Valerie, Riina, Jennifer, Jeremy Lentz and Will Bowels; and great-grandchildren Hayden, Abyss, Marvel and Izzie.
