Coaching for Your Success

Kalispell Chamber of Commerce is hosting a seminar on the topic of credibility in the workplace. Led by Sherrie Patterson of Essential Development and Coaching, LLC, discussion will center on how to gain credibility, how to give it up, and why credibility for leaders is critical. The workshop is scheduled for March 15 from noon-1 p.m. at the chamber’s offices located at 15 Depot Park. Registration at kalispellchamber.com

Columbia Falls chamber luncheon

The Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a membership luncheon on March 14 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Cedar Creek Lodge. The event is open to both chamber members and the public, and attendees will have the opportunity to connect with other members and make business connections. The luncheon will feature a presentation by Travis Dyson of Flagstar Bank, who will provide practical solutions for homeownership and business in today's environment, including insights on the "up and down" cycles of the economy. The cost of attendance is $15, which includes a catered lunch from House of S&M Tacos.

Job fair

The largest job fair in all of Northwest Montana, the NW Montana Job and Opportunity Fair, is returning to the Trade Center at the Flathead County Fairgrounds on April 6, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This year's fair will include a morning career fair focus for over 800 high school juniors and seniors from the Flathead Valley and beyond, providing employers with the opportunity to engage with their future workforce. Employers are encouraged to register with scarlon@dailyinterlake.com early as the job fair is expected to sell out.

Speed Networking

Kalispell Chamber of Commerce is hosting a speed networking event for members of the Flathead Area Young Professionals on March 23 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The event is being held at the Kalispell VFW, 330 1st Ave W. Registration can be done by emailing pilar@kalispellchamber.com.
