21-year-old pedestrian killed near Columbia Falls

A Columbia Falls pedestrian is dead after he was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of U.S. 2 and Montana 40 about 2:07 a.m. Saturday morning.

The man was later identified as Robert Dewbre, 21, according to Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino.

Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the fatality. They did not immediately respond to requests for more information on the incident.
