Blacktail Mountain focus of ski documentary

A short documentary film showcasing the story of Blacktail Mountain Ski Area and its legacy will be shown in Bigfork on March 27.
The evening will begin with Teton Gravity Research’s short film, "In Pursuit of Soul." This film explores the culture of independent resort towns across the country while meeting the people who call those mountains home.
This film will be followed by "In Pursuit of Soul 2," a short film celebrating the independent spirit of the Midwest ski and snowboard community.
Both films are collaborative efforts with Indy Pass.
The show will conclude with a Blacktail Mountain 25th anniversary documentary film that provides a glimpse into the determination it took to build the ski area above Lakeside.
The event will be held Monday, March 27 at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts, 526 Electric Ave. The doors will open at 6 p.m. for social hour, the show starts at 7 p.m. A $5 admission includes one free drink token and entry into a 2023/24 season pass giveaway the night of the event.
