Lawrence (Larry) Dean Semenza, 78

Lawrence (Larry) Dean Semenza, born in Fort Benton on Nov. 16, 1944 died peacefully on March 12, 2023 surrounded by family.

Larry was the youngest son of Helen Holmes Semenza and Lawrence C. Semenza. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Leonard. He is survived by brother Gene, daughters, Kris and Angie, and five grandsons, Hayden, Hunter, Dalton, Mitchell and Logan who were his pride and joy.

Larry played Grizzly football at the U of M where he earned a Master of Education. From there he lived a large and beautiful life. He was a father, a cattleman, a horseman, a farmer, a friend and a mentor to so many. He loved his family, parties, Christmas, making ravioli, playing cribbage, and Montana football, and he will be missed so very much.

A celebration of life will be held this summer in Montana. It will be a party in true Semenza fashion and we hope to see you all there.
