Law roundup: Woman tries to escape drones

Drones were allegedly following a woman sitting in a turn-off to a camping area. She told the Flathead County Sheriff's Office they had followed her before.

A vehicle reportedly drove off with a gas pump nozzle still attached in Kalispell.

A man allegedly involved in a fight at a Columbia Falls bar was told to call when he was ready to talk.

People returned to Kalispell to find a storage unit they were renting had been cleaned out. They accused the manager of allegedly cutting the lock and clearing out more than $20,000 worth of mostly recreation equipment, leaving just a rake, gas can and two five-gallon jugs. The renters wanted to report the items as stolen. They told deputies they had a photo of what the unit looked like before.

A man’s vehicle was reportedly rear-ended in Columbia Falls and the other driver became aggressive and started yelling and swearing before trying to leave.

Someone allegedly couldn’t tell if a man with a walker was confused or trying to break into the garages he was spotted trying to enter in Lakeside before being picked up by a vehicle.

A double axle work trailer was reported stolen in Kalispell.

A boat and RV storage company in Columbia Falls was trying to take possession of a reportedly abandoned boat.

Someone allegedly told the Whitefish Police Department they were in shock after an employee slapped them in the recent past.

An officer talked to a homeowner cleaning up trash from bear activity. Although it was one of the new bear-resistant garbage containers, the lid may not have been closed all the way.

An old red Ford truck reportedly drove in the wrong lane, on the sidewalk and was swerving.

Officers issued someone a citation for criminal trespassing and gave them a warning lacking vehicle registration and license plates.
