Trident’s Petition asks the Commission to set terms and conditions of a power purchase agreement between Trident and NorthWestern Energy in conjunction with the Trident Solar I facility (“Trident Solar”). Trident Solar is a hybrid photovoltaic solar and battery storage facility that has been certified as a qualifying small power production facility under the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978. On February 23, 2023, the Commission issued Procedural Order 7881 which established a variety of substantive and procedural deadlines for this docket. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Commission will conduct a public hearing on Trident’s Petition. (“InterBel”) filed an Application for Expanded Designation as an Eligible Telecommunications Carrier (“Application”) with the Montana Public Service Commission (“Commission”), pursuant to Section 214(e)(2) of the Telecommunications Act of 1934 (as amended) (“the Act”), 47 C.F.R. §§ 54.101-54.207, and Mont. Code Ann. § 69-3-840. InterBel is a rural, Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier and an eligible telecommunications carrier headquartered in Eureka, Montana. InterBel seeks to expand its designation as an Eligible Telecommunications Carrier (“ETC”) in order to offer federal Lifeline-only services to census blocks located in North Lincoln County and South Flathead County. InterBel provides a list of its proposed coverage area by census block in Exhibit A of its Application. The proposed coverage area is within InterBel’s competitive Local Exchange Carrier territory. If approved, InterBel will provide Lifeline services using a combination of traditional voice service, Voice over Internet Protocol (“VOIP”), and fixed broadband Internet access services. If approved, InterBel +++++will provide service to customers primarily using its own facilities, but at times may resell another carrier’s services.
