Bulldog boys top Libby in tennis dual
WHITEFISH — The Bulldogs put in a solid effort Thursday, defeating Northwest A foe Libby in a tennis dual 6-1.
“I'm happy with the way our guys played today,” said Whitefish boys coach Chris Schwaderer. “We lost to Libby earlier in the season but turned it around today. Buren Brust and Jack Oehlerich continue to develop as quality singles players, and Mason Kelch and Dane Hunt have great chemistry on the court. I'm seeing improvement every day.”
Brust beat Libby’s Tyler Anderson 6-4, 6-1, and Oehlerich won 6-2, 6-2 over Libby’s Cylis Goddard.
Kelch and Hunt won 6-2, 6-4 over Libby duo Trevor Collins and Alderic Martineau.
The dual was moved up from Saturday due to expected wet weather.
