Ella Farrell allowed four hits in nine innings, then clouted a bases-clearing double to help Glacier stay unbeaten Thursday, with a 6-3 extra-inning win over Missoula Big Sky.

The visiting Eagles (8-4 overall, 6-3 in the Western AA) used solo homers from Delaney Laird and Kyler Latrielle to draw even at 3-3 with the Wolfpack (10-0, 9-0 in league). But they couldn’t break through against Farrell, who allowed just four hits and two walks and struck out 12.

Then in the ninth the Pack loaded the bases against Big Sky pitcher Liberty Rogers and with one out, Farrell sent a drive to the fence. Kenadie Goudette, Nakiah Persinger and Cazz Rankosky all scored on the play.

It was the third run of the game for Persinger, who tripled earlier. Goudette had a double and scored twice. Farrell had another RBI double earlier in the game.

Rogers scattered 10 hits and seven walks, and fanned nine for the Eagles.
