Richard “Rick” Allen Faller, 72

Richard “Rick” Allen Faller, 72, of Columbia Falls, passed away May 15, 2023. He was born Oct. 12, 1950 in Armour, S.D. as one of nine children to the late Edward Allen Faller and Evelyn Marie Faller (Johnson).

Rick proudly served in the Army and was a veteran of the armed forces. After Rick’s military service, he became a skilled welder who took special pride in his work. His business, Rick’s Welding, was the result of that dedication to his craft. In his free time Rick enjoyed mowing his grass, puttering around in his garage, woodworking, and working jigsaw puzzles with his wife Donna, and spending time with his family. He shared a very special bond with his granddaughter, Aurora. An avid bargain shopper, Rick was always up for a trip to any store. He was not afraid to bargain or negotiate, whether it be for produce or something from the hardware store.

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Donna Jean Faller; son, Jamie Faller and wife Courtney; son, Jason Faller; granddaughter, Aurora Faller; and five sisters. In addition to his parents, Rick is preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Rick was a kind, caring, and helpful man. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of Richard Allen Faller’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Columbia Mortuary, 1010 4th Avenue West, Columbia Falls, MT 59912.
