A woman reportedly dialed 911 and said “wrong number” and hung up. Dispatch called the number back to ensure that a law enforcement or a medical response was not needed and the woman answered saying, “I don’t know why it keeps doing that,” and hung up again. She again dialed 911, and again said “wrong number,” and hung up instead of staying on the line. Dispatch tried calling back but the line was busy, so they updated their administrator about the phone-tag situation.

Later on, the persistent woman dialed 911 yet again and said “wrong number,” then hung up. Dispatch finally got her on the line and she said she would ask someone for help because she couldn’t figure out how to dial out. Dispatch proceeded to get about nine more 911 hangups from her. She was told to stop using the phone until staff could help her.

The Kalispell Police Department responded to a report of a man allegedly lying on his back in an unnatural position with cans around him. The person who called in the report said he was breathing, but seemed pretty intoxicated and unresponsive. The sleeping man was OK and an ambulance did not need to transport him to the hospital.

Someone reportedly saw a vehicle hit and injure a brown and white dog with a blue tag that was running back and forth and wouldn’t let anyone get close. The caller said they would remain at the scene until officers arrived.

A man, who had been drinking, was reportedly getting in a woman’s face all morning and hit a wall. Parties were counseled by an officer.

Someone allegedly received calls from an auto company they had done business with, threatening it was “going to get” the individual. An officer advised them that the threats were very vague and not in violation of the law. They were told it was a civil matter and to call an attorney. They were also advised about obtaining temporary restraining orders.

A 2003 light blue Dodge Caravan with a black front bumper and front quarter panels was reported stolen. The van was also missing two hubcaps.
