Law roundup: Moose provide golf course with new hazard
Moose were running around the golf course and cemetery on U.S. 93. The Whitefish Police Department received another call from a resident concerned that someone was going to get hurt when “the marshal” was allegedly pushing and chasing the moose around.
Someone allegedly called the police on behalf of a man who thought he was drugged at a bar and wasn’t wearing shoes or pants.
Three teens were reportedly riding red and white dirt bikes through a park and speeding around people on the path. Officers were unable to locate the trio.
A man allegedly kept trying to get on a train even after he was told not to return to the station until the departure date listed on his ticket.
Someone in Bigfork allegedly had a flat tire and didn’t know how to change it so they called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office. They were given contact information for a few tow companies and Montana Highway Patrol.
A woman allegedly got in the middle of a fight and was “choked out” by a man in Bigfork.
An elderly man’s Shetland sheepdog was reportedly attacked by one of two loose dogs while they were out on a walk, and he fell to the ground while trying to break up the fight. Although shaken, he appeared uninjured. The dog seemed OK as well, but the man received contact information if injuries were later discovered.

A Whitefish resident complained about a man across the street who was reportedly upset because he thought they were moving his trash cans.

Someone was suspicious of kids allegedly standing around a storage unit in Lakeside, claiming it looked like they were prying the door open. The kids waved to them as they drove by.
