Thomas E. Zundel, 75

Thomas E. Zundel passed away Oct. 29, 2023.
Tom fought a long battle with cancer from Agent Orange.
Tom was raised in Mitchel, South Dakota. He was a state wrestler. He attended college for a year and then joined the Army. He was proud to be a Screaming Eagle 101st of 502 Airborne. He had been awarded numerous medals as well as the Purple Heart.
After returning home he married Darlene (Memoree) Welliver. They were married 51 years and raised three sons, Tim Zundel, Taj Zundel and Gordon Zundel.
Tom was owner and operator of Zees Custom Cabinets. He worked alongside his sons and they did both commercial and residential cabinets.
He had one granddaughter, Zoe Ra' Taj Zundel; five grandsons, Kyler Zundel, Trystan Zundel, Topher Zundel, Tim Zundel and Cylus Stremel.
Tom had several nieces and nephews.
Tom had an older brother, Bill Zundel and a niece, Dusti.
Tom loved his family dearly and he was dearly loved by friends and family.
Husband, father, friend you will be sorely missed. Sending all our love and memories with you, husband, father, grandfather, uncle. Until we meet again, Rest In Peace, my love.
