Joleen Kay Burch, 75

| October 11, 2023 12:00 AM

Joleen Kay Burch, 75, was born Sept. 10, 1948, to Harold and Vi VanSickle.

She was the oldest of three girls. Her younger sisters are Becky Wood (Jerry) and Lugene Turcotte (Dan). She lived her young years in Minot, then moved to Montana later on.

She met the love of her life, Bob, and they were married Aug. 10, 1968. They had three daughters, Kelley Hatfield, Jodee Perkins (Ed) and Jenny Moffett (Phillip).

She was grandma to 14 and great-grandma to 16. She was adored by all who knew her including many other extended family members. She is also survived by son, Brian Wheeler (Amy).

Bob and Jo raised their family in Billings, and in 1998 moved to Kalispell and bought the One Hour Photo in the mall. This business grew and became Burch's Customer Framing, and Bob still runs it to this day.

In 2018, Jo began to suffer memory loss. Her memory slowly faded more and more. Echoview is where she spent her last couple of years being cared for by the compassionate team there.

Joleen will always be remembered as the amazing woman she was before dementia stole from her. She was compassionate, caring, loving woman who was always happy. She brought the joy and positive energy to every situation, and encouraged those around here in that way. Her family has been grieving the loss of who she was for years and missing her deeply.

They will celebrate now that she has been restored and is rejoicing with her Father in Heaven.

Joleen's celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat. Oct. 21, 2023, at Canvas Church, 255 Summit Ridge Dr., Kalispell.
