A woman’s ex-boyfriend was allegedly attempting to kick her out of an apartment by having the locks changed, so she called the Kalispell Police Department. Her questions were answered.

Police reportedly received a call from a man who asked officers to open a door to an apartment where he and his girlfriend were trapped inside. He said he had changed the locks and his girlfriend didn’t have a key, so she removed them, locking them both inside. He said a locksmith was coming over in a few hours to fix the locks but the pair just needed someone to free them by opening the door from the outside.

A man driving a gray Audi reportedly brake-checked and flipped off a woman driving a white Sonata and then got out of his vehicle at a light and began approaching her. Unfortunately, they were both headed in the same direction. Officers made contact with both parties, who offered differing stories about what happened and then parted ways.

Someone was concerned about the welfare of a boy wearing all black who was reportedly walking on the side of the road kicking a backpack and lifting his arms as if he was in distress.

A Good Samaritan called the police after allegedly finding $200 wadded up on the ground in a gas station and said they would drop it off at the department.

Someone was concerned that a woman who appeared intoxicated would drive drunk after spotting her spinning around and hitting herself while getting out of a white Toyota Corolla and going into a store.

A maroon Mercedes E350 was allegedly swerving in its lane and hit the shoulder. At a stop sign, a woman got out and moved a construction cone out of the way and then stumbled back into the car.

A woman out walking her dog in Columbia Falls reportedly shot pepper spray at two loose border collie mixes to deter the animals from attacking her and her pet. She told the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office she got some pepper spray in her mouth but was uninjured.

A Whitefish resident complained about someone shooting an automatic firearm. While they didn’t know whether or not the person was shooting safely it was “just annoying and bothering neighbors and animals.”
