Kalispell Public Schools is asking the public to complete a survey that will help guide the district as it seeks a new superintendent.

The position is currently filled by interim Superintendent Randy Cline for the 2023-24 school year.

Survey responses will “frame discussion for the superintendent profile as we move forward with the job description, advertisements, promotional materials and screening process for applications,” according to the district.

Montana School Boards Association (MTSBA) is administering the survey on behalf of the school district. MTSBA was hired by the school district to conduct the search as it has done in the past with previous superintendents, including Micah Hill, Mark Flatau and Darlene Schottle.

A link to the survey is available at the district website www.sd5.k12.mt.us. Responses are due by 5 p.m. Oct. 20.
