Columbia Falls Chamber holds Harvestfest
The Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Harvestfest celebration on Saturday, Oct. 21 in Hungry Horse at Canyon Elementary School.
Events will include a childrens costume parade, cornhole tournament, pie auction and pie eating contest, kids corner, cake/pie/prize walks, free chili lunch, chili cook-off and more fall activities. Entry is free for the event that runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
At noon the childrens costume parade takes place.
A free chili lunch will be served from noon to 3 p.m. or until the chili runs out.
A cornhole tournament runs from noon to 3 p.m. Cost is $20 per team, advanced and non-advanced brackets available. The tournament is run by the Badrock Baggers.
The pie auction runs from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Bring a pie or bid on a pie. Half of the proceeds are donated to the Hungry Horse Volunteer Fire Department.
The pie eating contest starts at 1:30 p.m. Entry is $5.
Enter the chili cook-off with judging between 11 a.m. and noon. First place wins $75, second place $50, and third place $25. After the contest, all chill is served for free to overall event attendees.
