Race along Parkline Trail set for Sept. 16

The Kalispell Downtown Association is holding the Kalispell Parkline Run and Brewfest on Saturday, Sept. 16.

The race begins at First Avenue West North, on the Parkline Trail behind SunRift Beer Co., and will be followed by the brewfest at Depot Park.

The 5K, 10K and half marathon take place from 10 a.m. to noon. Sign up for the run at https://runsignup.com/Race/MT/Kalispell/ParklineRun or same-day registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Runners and walkers are welcome. Dogs are not allowed.

Pre-race packet pickup is at Bias Brewing on Sept. 15 from 4-8 p.m.

The after-party brewfest is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to non-runners also. The event includes live music, food trucks, local beer and wine.

Entrance to the brewfest is free for runners and $20 for the general public. A commemorative silicon pint glass is included for the first 300 entrants.

The Kalispell Downtown Association supports the economic growth and vitality of Historic Downtown by promoting Downtown Kalispell as a social, commercial, professional and cultural heart of the community. All of the proceeds from the Kalispell Parkline Run and Brewfest benefit the Kalispell Downtown Association and Rails to Trails of the Flathead Valley.

The downtown association is also seeking volunteers for the event. Free entrance to the brewfest is provided for all volunteers.
