A man wearing a gray hoodie was reportedly trespassing on a property where he tried to break into apartments and had a bicycle that was stolen. Kalispell Police Department made contact with the man and allegedly learned information to caution future officers that he wants to beat up “fake cops,” but didn’t know the difference between legitimate officers; wants a gun for protection; and thinks “he’s the landlord of the county and can enter any apartment or house and steal anything because he owns it all.”

Someone was allegedly uncomfortable with a man wearing a gun in a leg holster with an extra magazine, an oversized reflective coat and a camo hat because he seemed “mentally ill.” They wanted officers to check on him saying, “It just didn’t seem right.” An officer didn’t find anything wrong with what the man was doing.

A very agitated man reportedly tried to get into a locked gate, and, as he was leaving, said, “You all need to die and I’m going to kill you all.” Officers advised the man he was not allowed to be on the property while out with him on an unrelated incident.

Two boys allegedly threw rocks at someone in a pavilion at Woodland Park and took off when police were called. No injuries were reported.

A couple with a newborn in their vehicle panicked that an Explorer, reportedly following them, tried running them off the road and pulled into the same parking lot. The driver of the Explorer was reportedly convinced he was following friends.

A bearded man wearing a gray T-shirt and carrying a paper bag allegedly went around to someone’s side yard, telling them he was going to start a fire then left.

A resident reported a burglary at a neighbor’s shop where a lot of things were stolen and broken and a bunch of credit cards were in the alley. Officers spoke with the homeowner who said a window was shattered and the shop was in disarray, but he didn’t want law enforcement to get involved or do an investigation.

A man allegedly thought someone shot at him with either a gun or a firework and threw a rock at his car. He wanted officers to drive through the area.

A man in a wheelchair was allegedly found trespassing with a friend in a parking lot where he was harassing customers for money.
