Donald William Lee, 70

Donald William Lee, 70, passed away at his home in Kalispell, on September 13, 2023. He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, June 9, 1953, to Orson H. Lee Jr. and Alice Briese. He attended high school at Kaiserslaunern Germany, attended ITT Tech.

He proudly served in the United States Army from 1971 - 1973. He was a

Vietnam Veteran and was a radio relay carrier.

He was a man of all trades he was most certainly proud of getting his degree at ITT Tech. He worked for Boeing for some time, a waiter, sold fire extinguishers, helped build two churches, and repaired casino machines.

He was very passionate man and always helped when he could. He never wore a long sleeved shirt with buttons while using a skill saw, a lesson he'd never forget. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors were his favorite. He loved to spend time with his stepdad, Lew True, while being outdoors. He also enjoyed going to church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Serena.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Lee of Kalispell; daughter, Faith Benson; son, Dan Hall; his sister, Linda Olson; and brother, Rex Lee; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Don will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, at Valley Life, formerly North Valley Baptist. Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls is caring for the family.
