Businesses honored as Employers of Choice

Three businesses have been selected as the winners of the Flathead 2024 Employers of Choice award. 

The Kalispell Job Service Employers' Council received over 300 nominations of area businesses from employees representing multiple job types, industries, and professions, according to the Montana Department of Labor and Industry. 

The winners are PTA Physical Therapy in the small category, Target store 1540 in the medium category and for the second year in a row in the large category is Mann Mortgage.

Employers from three different categories are recognized: up to 50 employees is the small category; 50-150 employees is the medium category, and 151 plus employees is the large category.

The nominations are scored according to the following criteria: Employee Benefits/Initiatives, Leadership & Communication, Workplace Culture, Employee Training/Development and Community Orientation.  

Winning employers are eligible to be nominated for the Montana State Employer of Choice award, to be decided later this year. Two of the Flathead JSEC’s 2022 and 2023 winners were awarded the Montana State Employer of Choice.
