Senior Home Safety Day event April 27

My Glacier Village is partnering with Montana-owned and operated Glacier Ace to host a Home Safety Day and free barbecue lunch for community seniors on Saturday, April 27 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at both the Evergreen and Columbia Falls Hardware Store locations.

Glacier Ace is providing the food for the barbecue, which will be offered while supplies last. Volunteers and members from My Glacier Village will be serving lunch and sharing information about their organization, whose mission is to assist and empower local seniors who are interested in aging independently at home.

A variety of age-friendly products to improve home safety for seniors will be highlighted and Glacier Ace will provide a 10% senior discount for those 65 and older.

My Glacier Village is a nonprofit organization and a local chapter of a national organization serving seniors to stay active, connected, educated and inspired, with a goal of helping seniors age in their home with a plan.
