An apartment dweller’s nightly chants were keeping an upstairs resident awake. The sleepless resident called the Kalispell Police Department wanting it to stop. She told officers she was a respondent on a temporary restraining order against the person and was advised not to engage with them and handle the issue civilly.

A male in his late teens or early 20s was allegedly buzzing around, popping wheelies on a mini-bike and recklessly racing past houses while being chased by a neighborhood dog.

A green Coleman brand mini bike and a Motobecane brand electric mountain bicycle were reported stolen.

Someone claimed they could see five vehicles and a group of teens drinking alcohol in a high school parking lot. Responding officers didn’t see any signs of alcohol and the youths they spoke to said they were just saying goodbye to friends. The person called back saying officers went to the wrong parking lot and the kids they spoke to had warned the alleged alcohol drinkers that police were in the area. Everyone left by the time officers returned.

A woman allegedly made a startling discovery when she got home and found two footprints on her bed. One large footprint looked like it came from a work boot and the other print from a much smaller shoe. Police planned to do extra patrol in the area.

Someone claiming to be a representative of the Kalispell Senior Center reportedly received a call about a broken door handle on the building. Responding officers found the door with the broken handle was open and cleared the building. Finding no signs that anyone had been inside the county maintenance department was notified to secure the door.
