Yvonne Susie DeLange, 88

Susie DeLange, as most of her friends called her, passed away on June 12, 2024, at her home is Kalispell. She was 88 years old.

She was born on March 8, 1936, in Circle, to Albert and Katie Bentz. In the late fifties, the family followed friends and moved to Ronan. She later moved to Whitefish and then to Kalispell where she lived ever since. 

Her favorite things in life were spending time with her many many friends, reading, shopping and playing cards. She was kind, sweet, quick-witted and outspoken. She could always make you laugh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Katie Bentz of Ronan; her brother, Ervin Bentz of San Leandro, California; and longtime companion, Robert Bricker of Missoula.

She is survived by her daughter, Roxie Graham; and son-in-law, David Blanton of Bigfork and Kapaa, Hawaii; daughter, Tracy DeLange of Waimea, Hawaii; son, Brook DeLange of Kalispell; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank everyone who knew Susie and called her friend. Thank you for being a part of her life. She loved you as much as you loved her. May the Lord watch over her and bless her. She will be truly missed.
