Law roundup: Person follows alleged speeder home, records driver

A driver was reportedly so outraged when a vehicle passed them in Columbia Falls that they followed it home, stopped in front of the car and started recording the driver, yelling at her for going over the speed limit. They probably wanted to speak to the manager too.  

A woman called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office after a coworker allegedly came to her house, kicked a hole in her bedroom door and grabbed her by the throat, claiming she stole her money. 

A man allegedly had a tire slashed on his vehicle for the second time in a week. 

The Kalispell Police Department responded to a call about a man in his 20s who allegedly yelled at empty cars, upset no one was occupying them, and while in the store, complained about spiders on his coat. Then, someone in a blue truck picked him up. 

A drunk woman reportedly purchased two cans of Mike's Hard Lemonade, drinking one in the restroom, and argued with employees asking her to leave. She was taken to the warming shelter and given 24 hours to remove her vehicle from the parking lot. 

An employee called the police when a disoriented man bleeding near his ear and eye was spotted sitting at a picnic table after reportedly having been “jumped” on Rails to Trails. 

A woman allegedly left a bindle bag of methamphetamine in the women’s restroom at a bar.  

A man reportedly hung around a location all day refusing to leave and then climbed into a customer’s running car but got out when “caught.” He was banned from the property and taken to the warming shelter. 

A man allegedly chucked a glass bottle at a woman’s vehicle as he drove by. Officers provided information about obtaining a temporary restraining order and contacting a victim advocate. 

A couple’s vehicle was reportedly stolen and a woman told officers the vehicle tracker showed it was in East Glacier.  

A woman allegedly thought her 30-year-old son peeped on her and her husband through a hole in their bedroom but gave vague responses to a dispatcher’s questions and hung up when told an officer would contact her.  

A customer reportedly had a Mercedes SUV towed and left it parked on a city street by a corner and a fire hydrant, impeding traffic, because she didn’t want to fix it. 

A woman complained a neighbor was parking a long flatbed trailer and pickup in front of his house and it was purportedly taking up all the space in front of her house.
