Masterpiece concert series opens with Jewels of the Opera
Local violinist Wai Mizutani presents the first installment of his new concert series, Masterpieces, at the Wachholz College Center on Feb. 9.
The first concert, titled Jewels of the Opera, will feature guest vocalist Micah Hunter, pianist Natilee Radosevich and Mizutani on violin.
Hunter is the choir and band director and dean of the conservatory at Stillwater Christian School. He is also an adjunct faculty member at Flathead Valley Community College where he’s taught composition, music theory and aural perceptions, according to his bio. Since 2015, he’s served as Glacier Symphony’s chorale conductor.
Radosevich has played piano since she was 6 years old and continues performing and accompanying fellow musicians in a variety of settings such as the college and Whitefish Theatre Company.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. The Wachholz is located on the community college campus, 795 Grandview Drive, Kalispell. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased online at wachholzcollegecenter.org.
