BROWNING — Maurice Redhorn III scored 29 points, 15 in a frenetic final quarter that ended with Browning pulling out a 72-70 boys basketball win over Whitefish Tuesday.

Jude Reevis added 12 points for the Indians (11-4 overall, 7-2 in Northwest A games), who built a couple sizable fourth-quarter leads only to have Whitefish (8-7, 4-5) snipe its way back.

Browning led 64-53 with 2:20 left after a basket by Tommy Running Rabbit; Mason Kelch’s 3-pointer started a Whitefish barrage from the arc that cut the gap to one late.

The Bulldogs hit five treys in the fourth quarter — 13 for the game — with two each from Kelch (23 points) and CJ Thew (21). Kelch and Thew each finished with five threes.

Redhorn hit Browning’s only two 3-pointers.
