Boys Hoops: Vikings subdue Bulldogs
BIGFORK — Bigfork’s Austin Savik scored seven of his 18 points in the fourth quarter, helping the Vikings subdue Whitefish 51-46 in Northwest A boys basketball action Saturday.
Savik hit four 3-pointers and Asher Knopik added 10 points for Bigfork (9-9 overall, 7-5 in league games).
Whitefish (9-8, 5-6 in league) saw Mason Genovese hit four 3-pointers on the way to 19 points, while Mason Kelch made three from the arc for half of his 18 points.

LIBBY — Tommy Running Rabbit’s 17 points led the way for Browning, and he scored 11 while the Indians pulled away from the Loggers over the middle two quarters.
Delbert Blackman added 11 points for Browning, which pulled into a tie with Columbia Falls atop the Northwest A standings at 9–2 (13-4 overall).
Tyler Andersen scored a game-high 24 for Libby (3-14, 1-10).

Kolby Finley added 12 points and Tayen Edmo scored all of his eight in the fourth quarter for the Chiefs (10-7 overall, 7-4 in league), who led 15-0 after one quarter but just 18-15 at halftime.
Brendan Griffin led Polson (2-15, 1-10) with 14 points. He made four 3-pointers.
