Girls Hoops: Wildkats, Lady Pirates win big
LIBBY — Taryn Borgen poured in 22 points, Hope McAtee added 17 and Columbla Falls raced out to a 41-18 lead on the way to a 78-43 win over Northwest A foe Libby Tuesday.
Borgen had seven steals and McAtee filled out the stat sheet with five rebounds and five assists for the Wildkats (9-9 overall, 8-4 in league), who own the Northwest A’s No. 3 seed into next week’s Western A Divisional. They’ll play Dillon in a first-round game in Butte.
