Letters to the editor Feb. 22

Warped perception

In response to the letter to the editor by Carol Santa (Trump and our democracy, Feb. 20). What a bunch of utter nonsense. This is the typical misinformation spin right out of CNN or MSNBC.

Ordinarily I would not even comment on such matters, but this is the same old lazy garbage spewed by the left and their surrogates.

Please, if you are going to vote or make any informed decisions, then you should really try and educate yourself. Apparently, being able to look at facts or think for yourself is not in high demand these days.

Sadly, the truth doesn’t matter anymore, just peoples warped perception of reality.

Feeling good

I want to think the opinion article “How to survive the 2024 election cycle” by Sneed Collard in Sunday’s paper was meant for just me, but I know differently! Betcha a cookie there are many, many people who benefited from reading it and researching the two options mentioned. Just my friends for starters and for backup, I’ll be emailing a copy to them just in case they missed it!

Whew! Feel better already. Thanks, Sneed!

Truth in packaging

Truthful politicians. I know that’s an oxymoron. You usually don’t know what you’re gonna get with a politician, usually. Actually, this is one of the things I like about Rep. Matt Rosendale.

I guess I can call it “truth in packaging.“ What I mean by that is that so many politicians put up a false façade to get your vote and you don’t truly know what’s behind that cardboard front.

With Matt Rosendale, you know. You can tell from 20 yards away, just by looking at him, that he is off-the-wall wacko. I really appreciate that truth in packaging. It makes the situation so much easier.
