Law roundup: Couple hit in a drive-by pepper spraying at store

Kids in a gray Jeep reportedly drove by a grocery store in a gray Jeep and fired pepper spray on a couple and turned onto East Idaho Street. A man told the Kalispell Police Department that the drive-by sprayings were happening daily.

A resident reportedly saw “guys with guns” hanging out by several vehicles in a church parking lot. The neighborhood resident told officers that the church had security cameras but the guys were standing out the men were out of view.

A man, who was on a first-name basis with police, resisted being detained by officers after he was allegedly outside the library throwing stuff at the building.

A woman allegedly went to get an MRI wearing $16,000 worth of jewelry that she placed in her wallet and then in her purse and when she got home it was missing. She told officers that she called the hospital and they said they’d look for the jewelry, but she didn’t think they seemed too concerned. 

A store customer and an employee allegedly restrained a skinny blond shoplifter after he assaulted them when they tried to detain him.

A woman reportedly went to her car to find all the doors open and the blinkers on. Her neighbor allegedly saw high schoolers tampering with it and trying the doors of other vehicles.

Someone allegedly called the police, asking them to move along a guy sitting on the side of the road, which they deemed “a dangerous place to sit.”

A black Tundra reportedly cut another vehicle off nearly tearing the bumper off in the process.

A bathroom in a business allegedly “reeked of drugs” after a woman with long brown hair and a bunch of bags left after spending 30 minutes in there.

Someone dialing into a video conference accidentally called 911.

A man and woman were allegedly jumping in front of traffic.

A vehicle reportedly ran a red light causing a crash where three vehicles had to be towed.

An employee allegedly noticed someone living in a vehicle that had parked on private property for a couple of weeks.
