With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Marie Lyon, who left this world on June 4, 2024. Sharon was a beacon of kindness, courage, and compassion, whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew her.

Born with a spirit deeply connected to the outdoors, she found immense joy in the natural beauty of Flathead Lake, where she spent countless days kayaking and soaking in the tranquility of the water. Her love for nature was just one facet of her vibrant personality.

She was a gifted athlete from a young age, excelling in basketball with remarkable talent and dedication. She played collegiately, showcasing her skills and passion for the game. A fierce competitor, she made many beautiful and lasting connections with people through sports. Later, as a youth basketball coach, she was committed to helping kids understand their worth, encouraging them to always try their best, and fostering a sense of teamwork. Her guidance and mentorship left a significant mark on many young lives, teaching them invaluable lessons both on and off the court.

Sharon was a dear friend to many, a loving mother, and a valued coworker. She lived her life as a protector of all, firmly believing in the power of helping others. Her beautiful soul and kind heart were evident in everything she did, inspiring those around her to strive for compassion and empathy.

Her legacy of friendship, grace, and service will continue to shine through the lives she touched. Sharon's celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on June 24, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home, where family, friends, and community members will gather to honor and remember her remarkable journey.

Though she may no longer be with us, Sharon’s spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
