Someone who sounded intoxicated allegedly called the police saying a vehicle cut them off on the U.S. 93 Bypass and was swerving.

A man wearing a blue sweatshirt and thick glasses reportedly rolled up to a cellular store on a bicycle and asked an employee to use a phone. The employee obliged but became suspicious when he started talking over the phone about drugs and trying to leave with it. The man, described as being 35 to 40, was amped up and the employee was concerned he was getting violent. Officers told him he was banned from the store.

A man called 911 groaning that he was “turning down” and needed a healer because he was bleeding from the heart and saw blood on his shirt. His mother told officers there was no visible blood, but his breathing was fast and heavy. He was possibly experiencing a drug-induced panic attack and agreed to go to the emergency room.

A store customer reportedly asked a nervous-looking clerk if he was OK, and the clerk said, “I don’t know.” The customer posed the question after noticing a few people walking around, looking like they were waiting for him to leave. The customer asked the clerk if they wanted him to call 911 and they gave the same response. Waiting in the parking lot, he told officers he was watching the other people and a bearded man had a jacket thrown over his arm that was covering his other hand like he was trying to steal something. Nothing was amiss in the store and police said they would do extra patrol in the area.

A 17-year-old, months short of his 18th birthday, allegedly got into a skirmish with his father who believed he was smoking fentanyl.

A woman that police had brought to a location reportedly refused treatment yet refused to leave.

Four people purportedly hauled “little dirt bikes” to a parking lot where they were seen riding around and spinning brodies.

A passerby saw a truck pulling a wooden trailer engulfed in flames.

A man was allegedly adamant that a government agency was after him and pepper sprayed his truck, which was unlocked, at the fairgrounds.

A man with a hunch his girlfriend stole a company vehicle registered to his boss called the police when he noticed she was gone and so was the vehicle. Officers located the girlfriend inside the vehicle at a motel. He agreed not to press charges if she returned the vehicle.
