A pizza party was reportedly held on a second-floor balcony of an apartment building under construction when crews found food, blankets and garbage. The building owner requested extra patrol.

An elderly man with a black cane allegedly shoplifted from a grocery store. Kalispell Police Department took the man to the hospital for medical clearance, ticketed him for theft, advised him he was banned from the store and then released him. The merchandise was returned to the store.

A woman reportedly told officers she rear-ended a black vehicle while coming to a stop at the light on Grandview but the car sped away.

Officers received a call from a man rambling about getting out of the hospital and couldn’t get his clothes, go home, or find his location, saying “they” brought him more drugs and people were drugging individuals, turning them into drug addicts. Multiple attempts were made to call the phone number back, but officers were unable to get through.

Officers received a call about a shirtless man who reportedly went to a bank twice trying to fraudulently cash a check where the endorsement had been whited out and the dates changed.

Someone following a green vehicle allegedly saw the driver slap the passenger.

A parent was concerned about criminal mischief after finding a dried white substance that looked like it had been poured on the top and sides of their child’s vehicle and had a culprit in mind.

A dirtbike found stashed in the back of a building was painted multiple colors, which raised someone’s suspicions that it might be stolen.
