A woman camping in woods near a boat access area reportedly dropped “F-bombs” for more than 20 minutes in what an unwilling audience member described to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office as a combination of yelling and singing.

A dozen kids were reportedly climbing on bathrooms and being rude to people at a location where an employee asked officers to talk to them about their behavior and move them along. Parents were notified about the incident.

Columbia Falls Police Department called back a phone number tied to a 911 hangup and dispatch heard a child screaming, “I don’t want to go to jail.” The grandma reportedly answered the phone and said no one was in danger; the child did not want to go to her room and she fell but was OK.

A man carrying an orange jacket and backpack allegedly tried to break into a car. Officers were cautioned that during their last contact with the man he reportedly said he would start carrying a gun and get into a shootout with law enforcement before letting them arrest him again. When officers made contact this time, he allegedly lifted his coat to show a gun in his back pocket containing seven rounds in the magazine and one in the chamber.

Deputies received another call about several individuals allegedly heard yelling and screaming at each other in a water park and it sounded like a man throwing something against the bathroom wall.

Deputies received a report that four cows on the loose were milling around someone’s field in Columbia Falls. The caller was concerned the bovines would be hit by a car if they wandered into the road.

A man complained about a pit bull mix allegedly coming into his yard at night in Hungry Horse. The dog had previously “pinned” him in his vehicle.

Someone in Columbia Falls sent an online report to officers regarding a large hole cut into a fence and customers alleging locks were cut off their trailers and campers.

Someone reportedly opened credit cards and two bank accounts, fraudulently attaching them to a Kalispell resident’s retirement account.

An RV was allegedly burglarized in Whitefish and everything was taken.

Someone in Kalispell reportedly parked a camper by a building and hooked up their water without permission.
