Law roundup: Children find replica revolver in playground

A school administrator in Kalispell reportedly called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office after children reportedly found a revolver lying on the ground in the playground. Deputies determined the revolver, which had no serial number, was a non-firing replica.

Someone allegedly stole tires off of a Kalispell property and left a note saying they were borrowing them and would return them on a specific day. Four trailer wheels were also missing.

A man allegedly pushed a woman to the ground, hitting and threatening her in Columbia Falls.

A man riding a black bicycle with a flashing red light in Kalispell reportedly flipped someone off and sprayed mace in the direction of their tow truck.

A man allegedly lost his wallet and told dispatchers he thought he was going to die. He reportedly said he needed a blood transfusion but told dispatch it was none of their business to know why he needed to go to the hospital. 

Two stray dogs were reportedly chasing goats and chickens in Kalispell.

Someone calling from Kalispell alleged animal abuse was occurring on a property with too many animals that were stepping on their own feces. They said there were about 50 horses contained in an area 50-by-50 feet.

A suspicious black plastic box with a clear lid that contained a packet holding a cable cord attached to a button was reportedly found in front of a mailbox in Bigfork. the person described it as 10 to 12 inches long and 3 inches tall.

An employee in Kalispell reportedly flagged deputies down, saying a man was hiding in the bushes. Stuff was found in the bushes but not a person.

Someone calling from Bigfork thought someone was trying to hide a car that could access a nearby subdivision.

Someone asked deputies to check on the welfare of an elderly neighbor when they allegedly saw flashlights and a truck at his house, unsure if it was family members checking in on him.

Someone was reportedly worried that a car they had seen before was parked outside a purported “drug house” for an hour. 

A man allegedly found tools stolen from his work at a Kalispell pawn shop.

Kalispell Police Department moved along a belligerent man who was allegedly using two megaphones to harass and verbally threaten employees at a store whose manager told officers he was banned from the property.

Officers told a man to move his camper because it was a road hazard.

A manager reportedly thought someone was living on the roof. Columbia Falls Police Department searched the roof and removed a small bag of toiletries and a ladder. 

Vehicles allegedly parked in front of the farmers market, facing the wrong way and blocking the roadway if emergency vehicles needed to drive through.
