A woman wielding a baseball bat allegedly attacked a man holding a chair as they took an argument into the streets. She reportedly yelled that he was going to die as he pleaded for her not to hit him. During the fracas, a car horn went off and a man yelled to send the police. The woman, described by one caller to the Kalispell Police Department as a “weirdo,” got a few hits in by the time police arrived. Experiencing back pain, the man went to the hospital.

A man in a hotel room with someone in their late teens reportedly shot through a wall and an employee wanted him kicked out. Officers detained the allegedly semi-compliant man who had warrants.

An apartment dweller called the police after a neighbor didn't answer his door to talk about ongoing banging noises they were hearing that reportedly resulted in broken property. Officers spoke to the neighbor who said they dropped dumbbells.

The impatient driver of a tan SUV allegedly flashed its lights at a vehicle and slowed down, stopped and then sped up to about 60 mph in a 35-mph zone, almost hitting the other vehicle.

Dispatch called a phone number associated with a 911 hang-up and an 11-year-old answered, whispering their parents were threatening to cut their hair and hit them, then stopped talking when dispatch heard what sounded like a door shaking in the background. Responding officers noted the incident was a parent discipline issue.

Employees were allegedly nervous to leave work at night when vehicles parked in the lot between 6 and 6:30 p.m. and the occupants were seen drinking beer.

A man was reportedly heard yelling from the street, “Get out of here,” or Get out here,” and what sounded like “I’m going to kill you.” He allegedly chased another man down the street who was walking home. Officers counseled him about his disorderly behavior.

A man felt threatened by neighbors who allegedly came onto his property unannounced and were installing cameras pointed at his house. He was advised to stay inside while officers checked the area. Everything was quiet and no one was around when other officers arrived.
