Spotting law enforcement officers in her neighborhood, a resident phoned the Kalispell Police Department asking for the inside scoop on what was going on outside her home.

Annoyed with her ex-boyfriend pestering her and showing up at her place to pound on the door, a woman turned to the police for help. She said her ex's behavior was starting to spook her roommate. Officers walked her through how to either trespass him from the property or take out a restraining order, but she deemed both options a little extreme. She said she didn't want to be linked to him in a criminal matter.

Someone spotted a kid tossing snowballs at passing traffic from a yard. They told officers the miscreant was using a fence as cover.

After allegedly attacking members of her spouse's family, an in-law decided to sack out on the couch. Her relatives by marriage told the police they felt unsafe in her presence.

A motorist reported seeing a white service truck slide off the road and strike a fence, damaging it. Officers investigated the report and found the supposed damage but noted it had occurred some time ago.

Both members of a couple ended up in the Flathead County Detention Center after calling authorities accusing each other of assault.

Officers escorted a man taking a rest on the road out of the way of traffic.

Passersby reported seeing a man in a yellow hooded sweatshirt running around a parking lot while screaming and chasing cars. Responding officers met up with the man, who told them he was having a bad day. He agreed to tamp down on the antics.

Someone reported several motorists parking illegally in handicapped spots.
