Marilyn Wilken, 88

Marilyn Wilken, 88, passed away on Sept. 24, 2024, at her home in Bigfork. She was born Feb. 17, 1936, in Kalispell to Ora and Beulah Miller. She was the youngest of eight children. She went to Flathead High School where she met, then married the love of her life Delbert Wilken. They were married for 32 years until his passing

Her favorite things in life were entertaining with food and drink, bowling and spending time with her family and friends. She always enjoyed her weekly outings with her Kalispell and Bigfork lunch brunch gals.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Orvelle and Fred; and sisters, Opal, Donna, and Norma Jean.

She is survived by her daughter, Terri (Gary) Keller, son, Gary (Erin) Wilken; grandchildren, Chance (Tressa) Keller, Cassie (Scott) Smith, Delbie (Lance) Parsley, Claire (Matt) Wall; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Lela Rinke, brother, Jake Miller, sister-in-law Jean Miller; and many nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to extend our thanks to the Logan Health Hospice Team and St. Anne’s Home Care for giving such amazing care. 

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 5, at Johnson Gloschat Funeral Home with burial to follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
