LIBBY — The Columbia Falls soccer teams swept a pair of games from the Libby Loggers, with the Wildcats getting tested some in North A soccer Thursday.

Jack Harris scored twice as the boys beat Libby 3-0; Onnika Lawrence had a hat trick as the Wildkats scored a 10-0 victory.

Wildcats 3, Loggers 0

Harris scored in the first minute off a helper by Isak Soylant, and the scored stayed 1-0 until he got his second goal in the 53 rd minute. Max Everett assisted on that goal and another by Bruno Felijo.

“Libby was a much more organized team defensively this time around,” said coach O’Brien Byrd, whose boys beat the Loggers 9-2 in September. “They got close to everybody behind the ball, in every transition. They made it extremely difficult on us and really squeezed the size of the pitch well.
“Our boys stuck with the game plan and continued to grind out chance after chance. Jack Harris hasn’t scored in a few games so it was good to get two goals today.”
