A man reportedly stood on his deck and shouted that whoever turned in his dog to meet him in his driveway.

People in a green pickup with tinted windows and custom parts reportedly kept driving by a house, yelling at a couple and nearly hitting the woman’s husband. The woman called the Kalispell Police Department asking for extra patrol out of concern for their child’s safety when one of the occupants threw something toward one of their windows.

Store employees allegedly tackled a shoplifter who was ticketed and released.

A tall skinny man wearing a backward baseball cap reportedly pounded on a car window his girlfriend had locked herself and a baby inside, as she yelled at him to leave. She got out of the car, locked the door and the couple continued yelling at each other in the parking lot when another man got involved. One man was taken to jail for partner-family member assault.

A tree reportedly fell on someone’s car. No one was injured.

A man in his vehicle allegedly screamed profanities at passerby who was having none of his behavior and called officers. He told officers he was yelling because he was in pain but declined medical assistance, saying he already talked to his doctor.

A woman lying under a fence with a large “stack of stuff” reportedly slurred her words as she called for help but declined exactly that from law enforcement.

Officers reportedly received multiple calls about the homeless and intoxicated woman who was up and walking but kept falling to the ground. One caller said they offered to get her a taxi but she declined. She did accept a ride to the hospital from police.

A house sitter allegedly locked herself in a room and hid behind a bed where she call the Columbia Falls Police Department after seeing a car in the driveway and heard banging, footsteps and sirens around midnight. The spooky scenario reportedly turned out to be a miscommunication with the owners who had allowed their father to stay in the home and he was unaware that she was housesitting.

Kids were reportedly playing inside a multicolored Dodge Sportsman with a 24-hour notice to move on it and someone was concerned they would injure themselves and noted the car had beer bottles inside it.

A man allegedly wanted police to “file an assault charge,” against his roommate, but he refused to provide a statement to officers. When officers explained how the charging process worked, he opted to ask for a civil standby to pick up his belongings from the residence.

A man accidentally dialed 911 and hung up. On dispatch’s callback he apologized, saying he was a “newbie” and “was running around like a chicken with his head cut off.”
