Law roundup: Injured cat in the box taken to vet

An injured cat in a box was reportedly left on a corner with a note stating, “Is this your cat?” A person who took the cat to the animal hospital told officers that the box had been there for at least a day. 

Kalispell Police Department received a report that a man went to a medical facility demanding to see a doctor and allegedly threatened staff, saying, “If the doctor doesn’t help me today, I will shoot them myself.”   

A customer’s small talk allegedly included topics such as “bashing an old man’s head in” and killing others  

A medical employee called police to report a highly intoxicated patient who had allegedly been beaten and stabbed by two men, one of whom goes by “Fast Phil,” but they were unwilling to provide information to police or pursue charges at the time.  

A woman allegedly gave individuals “all kinds of information” that allowed them to hack a computer and now they kept calling and harassing her.   

A man by a casino, who had been drinking alcohol in the morning, called 911 during the afternoon “hollering for help” on an open line. He reportedly asked dispatch to send an ambulance because he was experiencing back pain. 

A Kalispell woman called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report fraud explaining that she put her house on the market a month ago and was now getting rejection letters for credit applications using her house as collateral. The letters addressed a man whom she didn’t know.   

A Kalispell man lacking restraint reportedly yelled at someone for blocking his driveway and hit them in the face.    

A vehicle in Kalispell allegedly cut another vehicle off, running it off the road, and when it moved in front of them the driver pointed a gun at them. They told deputies they had a video of the vehicle.  

A ton of wood was reportedly flying off a truck hauling a cargo trailer in Bigfork.  

A Kila woman allegedly received a letter from unemployment stating that someone fraudulently opened a claim under her name for $5,000.  

An unknown vehicle reportedly parked in a Kalispell resident’s driveway and was unoccupied.
