Business Buzz at First Interstate Bank

The Whitefish Chamber of Commerce Business Buzz is Sept. 5 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at First Interstate Bank at 306 Spokane Ave., in Whitefish. The event offers chamber members an opportunity to get caffeinated while catching-up on the latest from the Chamber staff. 

September Unwind at Stockman Bank 

The next Kalispell Chamber of Commerce Unwind event is Sept. 10 from 5-6:30 p.m. at Stockman Bank at 2405 U.S. 93 North in Kalispell. Each month's Unwind is hosted at a different Discover Kalispell Chamber member business. The events feature a variety of food and beverage options and usually include raffles and split-the-pot opportunities.  

Young professionals meet

The Flathead Area Young Professionals group meets Sept. 11 from 8-9 a.m. at the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce office at 2 S. Main St. In Kalispell. The featured speaker is Ben Mumm, a detective with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office who is assigned to the Montana Division of Criminal Investigations ICAC Task Force. 

Coffee Connect at L&M Fine Jewelry 

The next Kalispell Chamber of Commerce Coffee Connect program is Sept. 13 from 8-9 a.m. at L&M Fine Jewelry at 221 Main St., in Kalispell. This is a networking and relationship-building business meeting. Non-member guests are welcome to participate in two Coffee Connect events before joining the Kalispell Chamber. Gone Fishin' at Glacier Bank

The next Whitefish Chamber of Commerce Gone Fishin’ event is Sept. 19 from 5-7 p.m. at Glacier Bank, 319 Second St., in Whitefish. This is a networking event for business representatives to interact with others, exchange information and develop professional and social contacts. 

Tourism grant  

The Montana Department of Commerce is taking applications for the Economic Impact and Destination Event Grant Program, which is a state-funded program to assist Montana communities with events to increase tourism, promote the state’s unique attributes and generate additional community revenue.
