Flathead volleyball splits with Great Falls schools

Zellah Boles hit five aces and Addison Smith had eight kills as the Flathead Bravettes defeated Great Falls in a five-set thriller Saturday. 

Anna Bain picked up 20 assists in the match, which saw Flathead take a two-set lead before the Bison (1-1) battled back to force a deciding set. 

The scores were 25-19, 25-19, 21-25, 19-25, 15-11. 

Flathead (1-1) dropped their second match of the day to CMR three sets to none. The set results 25-20, 25-13, 25-14. 

Addi Smith and Addison Thornberry each hit an ace against the Rustlers (2-0). Bain tallied 14 assists in the match. 

Bristol Lenz picked up three blocks at the net.
